Primarily a liberal arts Institution, the University offers programmes in Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences, Commerce, Management, Law, Engineering, Architecture and Education to over 26,500 students from all the states and union territories of India and about 60 other countries.
With ‘Excellence and Service’ as the Vision, the University is actively involved in community development through student involvement. The University has slum and rural development projects with a focus on women and children in the city of Bangalore, in the states of Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh.
On 5 March 2021, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) and SUSS signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on exchange visits in overseas experiential studies, study abroad programmes and joint initiatives.
